We are seeking a dedicated Fine Gardener/Container Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

As a Fine Gardener/Container Specialist, you will collaborate directly with our Lead Container Specialist to manage and maintain premium residential properties. Core responsibilities include:

-Planning, installing, and maintaining container gardens, planter arrangements, and landscape beds.

-Performing routine landscape upkeep such as watering, weeding, soil care, and general maintenance.

-Providing comprehensive gardening care for landscapes, including weeding, pruning, and plant bed amendments to promote plant health.

-Communicating with clients, offering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.

-Working closely with the Lead Container Specialist and clients to achieve desired garden aesthetics at every property.

-Proactively presenting new opportunities for business (enhancements) to clients.

-Coordinating and managing plant orders and deliveries for annuals, seasonal containers, and decorating.

-Reconciling plants after enhancement projects are completed, tracking materials with the mobile app (Aspire) while on site and submitting these to the Business Administrator for billing.

-Safely operating landscaping equipment, irrigation systems, and hand/power tools, or demonstrating a willingness to learn.

-Coordinating and organizing with the team on larger projects when additional support may be required.

-Staying current on seasonal trends in container design and plant selection to keep client properties fresh and visually appealing throughout the year.

-Helping train and mentor newer team members on proper planting techniques and container maintenance as the team grows.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates with hands-on horticulture experience and a strong eye for garden design. Requirements include:

-1-3 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container gardening.

-Strong knowledge of plants, soil management, fertilization, and pest control, or a willingness to learn.

-Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions, able to lift 30 lbs.

-Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

-Familiarity with landscape design principles is a plus.

-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

-Basic computer competency.

-A hard worker who is ethical, efficient, self-motivated, friendly, and professional.

-A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for working closely with clients and teammates alike.
