We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
As a Landscape Construction Laborer, you will play an essential role in the day-to-day execution of our projects. Core responsibilities include:
-Assist in the installation of masonry, planting, irrigation, and lighting systems with attention to detail.
-Support the crew in grading, material handling, and site preparation tasks.
-Operate basic landscape tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
-Load and unload materials, ensuring proper care and organization.
-Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
-Follow instructions from the Landscape Construction Foreman to ensure project goals are met.
-Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, keeping them in good working condition for the whole team.
-Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, flagging any issues or delays as they arise.
-Work efficiently in various weather conditions to meet project deadlines, adapting to the physical demands of outdoor construction work.
-Assist with staging and organizing materials at the start of each project to keep the site running smoothly throughout the day.
-Support multiple crews across different job sites as needed, gaining exposure to a variety of project types and techniques.
Qualifications
We welcome candidates who are new to the industry as well as those with some prior landscaping experience. Requirements include:
-Entry-level position; 1-2 years of landscaping construction experience preferred but not required.
-Basic knowledge of landscaping tasks (e.g., planting, mulching, and hardscape).
-Valid U.S. driver’s license.
-Ability to operate basic landscape tools and machinery, or a strong willingness to learn.
-Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
-Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
-English proficiency preferred for effective communication with team members and supervisors.
-Authorized to work in the United States.
-A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to take direction from foremen and senior crew members.
