We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, physically capable, and ready to support our crew in delivering high-quality landscape projects under the direction of our experienced foremen. The Landscape Maintenance Foreman is responsible for leading a crew in the maintenance of residential and/or commercial landscapes. This role ensures that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards while providing excellent customer service. The Foreman also serves as the primary point of contact on-site, balancing hands-on landscaping work with the responsibility of managing people, schedules, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

-Supervise and lead a crew of landscape maintenance technicians.

-Schedule and assign daily tasks, ensuring timely completion of all work.

-Perform and oversee routine maintenance, including mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, and seasonal clean-ups.

-Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).

-Train crew members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.

-Monitor job sites for quality control and address any issues promptly.

-Communicate with clients professionally and respond to requests or concerns.

-Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

-Complete daily reports, time tracking, and job documentation.

-Assist with snow removal operations (if applicable).

-Coordinate with the office and other foremen to ensure crews and equipment are allocated efficiently across job sites.

-Identify opportunities for additional services or enhancements at client properties and communicate these to management.

Qualifications

-3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance.

-Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

-Strong knowledge of horticulture practices and plant care.

-Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment.

-Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).

-DOT license.

-OSHA 10.

-Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

-Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

-Good communication and team leadership skills.

-Ability to problem-solve independently and make sound decisions in the field.

Physical Requirements

-Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.

-Ability to operate equipment and perform hands-on work alongside the crew as needed.

Work Schedule

-Full-time.

-Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak seasons.
