We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our dynamic team. Position Summary
The Landscape Maintenance Laborer supports the maintenance crew in providing high-quality care for residential and commercial properties. This role involves performing routine landscaping tasks, operating equipment, and assisting the foreman to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently. It’s a physically active, outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in a job well done.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, weeding, and mulching.
-Assist with seasonal services such as spring and fall clean-ups.
-Plant flowers, shrubs, and other landscape materials as directed.
-Operate and maintain basic landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
-Load and unload tools, materials, and debris.
-Follow directions from the Foreman and work effectively as part of a team.
-Maintain a clean and organized job site.
-Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
-Assist with snow removal operations (if applicable).
Qualifications
-Previous landscaping experience preferred but not required (willing to train).
-Ability to operate or learn to operate landscaping equipment.
-Strong work ethic and reliability.
-Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
-Basic knowledge of landscaping practices is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work outdoors in a variety of conditions. Candidates should be prepared for:
-Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
-Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
